Okay, here it is, in link form.  I took so many friggin' tries that I about exploded.  But here is my head, just click the link above and you will see the grossness that was my poor little head.  Brain spilling out and everything.

Ugh.  Just stop being around this Cro Magnon male.

on Feb 21, 2008

I'm pretty proud of it, if I do say so myself.

There's still blood on the carpet in my hall, so there will always be a piece of me in the dorms.  Until they tear it down.

I can't stop being around him, he's my best friend.  He's just not allowed to touch me anymore.

Yum!!!

Chickie, you should've had at least two staples in that (or sutures).  Seriously.  Scalps don't get a lot of air and can take forever to heal properly, not to mention they're incredibly vascular.

You can always have someone else suture it for you - it's really not that hard to learn and the supplies aren't that difficult yo find.  I'd recommend you find yourself the equipment if you're going to be without decent insurance/money for a copay for a while.

Of course, you could let me know how much your copay is and I'll take care of it for you.  (I mean that, btw.  I'd rather be out a couple of hundred and know your noodle is intact than have you go without medical care).

Thanks, Dharma. I'm really fine now, though. It's just a good scar. We fixed it up, and I heal uber fast. My copay isn't that much, but I didn't get paid for a couple of days so I didn't quite have enough. It actually looks worse in the pictures than it really was. I think. I couldn't see it, as it's on the back of my head.

Honestly, I could have gotten the money from the people here at school, but we had a former EMT look at it and I was told that because there wasn't any fatty tissue I didn't need stitches.

Thanks for the offer, though. I appreciate it.

Ted, wrong. Not yum. Nasty.

ugh!  what did you do?

Scalp wounds really bleed like crazy. I'm glad it's healing and didn't get infected.

You have gorgeous hair, btw!

Dr. Guy: I actually wrote an article on this event, and only now got the pictures up.

Yeah, yeah...too bad the kid needs a babysitter and, like Dad, I'm the only one that will put up with him a lot of the time. Besides, without experiences like these, I wouldn't have any stories to tell my posterity about the wonders of college life!!!
