Some thing. That I have.
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Published on May 27, 2008 By Cedarbird In Blogging

I'll be the first to admit, I'm a big nerd.  I love Buffy, Angel, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, I'm a geek.

With that said, let's get to the main point.

I went to go see Prince Caspian with my family for Memorial Day.  Having seen the trailers, I greatly anticipated two full hours of watching Ben Barnes.  Little did I know.

I heard a review on the radio, where a MAN who interview Barnes said, "I got lost in his eyes."  A straight man said this.

With my mother on one side and my grandmother on the other, I watched.

Oh.  My.  Gosh.

Yep.  There was losing, a little.  Even my grandma said he was dreamy.

Want some eye candy?  Go see that movie.  He has the best eyes of anyone I have ever seen before.  Wow.  A beautiful speciman of a man, right there, ladies and gentlemen.  Wow.

Now, I'm not normally this shallow, I promise...but...wow.  I'd bang him if I could.  Wow.

Oh yeah, the story was good, too.  A bit darker than the first one, but a better movie as a whole.  Much better.

Hey, if anyone knows, which was written first: Lord of the Rings, or Narnia?  I just saw some...parallels (read: moving trees).

I'm a sucker for intense brown eyes.

Holy crap, what a handsome young son of God, as my mother would want me to say.

Wow.

I'm pleased you find the young man so attractive. He's not my type, personally

My wife is a very big fan of the books and absolutely loved the first movie so I'm pleased to hear you say you thought Prince Caspian was better than The Lion... She will be very happy.

To answer your question, the first volume of the Narnia series, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, was first published in 1950, while first volume of the Lord of the Rings was published in 1954, although Tolkien had been working on it for many years prior (if you want more indepth info, check out the page on Wiki or one of the numerous Tokien sites).

That's what I always look for in a movie: a leading man whose dreamy eyes I can get lost in.

Oh well, if anyone knew how many bad movies I've sat through just because I thought one of the actresses was hot....

In one of my favorite comic strips ever, the teen son is in a record store asking an employee if an album is any good. The employee tells him, no it's got way too much reverb. "But on the other hand," the employee says, "it does have a hot chick on the cover." Cut to the son sitting at home listening to music with a distasteful look on his face. His dad asks, "What's with all the reverb?"
"Dad, when do you stop doing things just because a good looking girl is involved?"
The dad thinks for a moment, then says, "If you find out, let me know."

*SIGH* It never ends.

Now, I'm not normally this shallow, I promise...but...wow. I'd bang him if I could. Wow.

For shame! But I won't tell on you, because you won't tell on me for my current infatuation with well-placed tattoos and piercings.

But at any rate, glad you enjoyed it. And for the men on this thread, I give you your own eye candy, from SanCho with love:

Delicious.

I was going to post lewd lyrics here, but decided against it.

I appreciate that, and the not telling on me. Because if you did, well, let's just say I could have easy revenge.
