Saturday I had a fever of 102.8. I spent all day in bed, because when I'd get up I'd get dizzy and fall over. I was coughing up my lungs, not in good shape, ladies and gentlemen. The fever's gone down some, but now whenever I go outside I start the whole cough-hack thing again. It's the flu, and it's not going away. I'm so miserable, but I have so much to do it's killing me. Papers to write, radio stuff to do, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. And I'm now having ...

So, funny story. I was with a large group of friends last night, and we had a person come and teach us self defense, you know, how to get away from someone trying to kidnap or kill us. It was fun and informative, then we started practicing on the guys who were with us. I, having "small dog syndrome," tend to get a little too into these types of things, and I went up against the biggest guy there. Not to hurt him or myself, but just to see if I could get away from someone so big and scary....
