I'm nineteen. I just finished my first year at college, and I've decided that I want to get a car because I was so sick of mooching off other people for rides to, um, the store. Or....home. So, I started looking. Went to used car dealers that bank at my bank, so I know they'll give me a good deal. Yes, I'm manipulative, I don't care. My price range was between 6 and 7000 dollars. Found a'cute' little 2002 Toyota Echo that they were asking, oh 7995 for. Found a coup...

All right, so we all know that there is a constant debate over which is correct: Creation or Evolution.   I have this crazy idea that just might work. What if, now get this...BOTH ARE RIGHT!!?? All I know about either subjectis what I learned in AP Biology my junior year of High School, and theBible and Pearl of Great Price. From what I can tell, there is far too much evidence of evolution todismiss it out of hand, including carbon dated fossils and anatomicalsi...

I get back from school, and my dear brother has kidnapped all of Buffy and Gilmore Girls to Spain.  All that is left is Angel.   I'd forgotten how much I like that show, I mean, I love Joss Whedon, but Angel wasn't my favorite of the three: Buffy, Firefly (best show ever), and Angel. But now that all I have to watch from SanCho's stash.  I'm liking it.    __________________________________________________________________________________________________...

I'm done with school for the year.  I'm back home for the summer, oh, this'll be fun.   See, I have this problem.  I make my mother cry. I don't mean to, but...I do it anyway, all the time.  See, I'm kind of sarcastic, right?  And she's uber sensitive about...everything.  So, no matter what I say, or how I say it, I can't go a whole day without bringing tears to her eyes.  This is why I didn't want to go home.  I wanted to stay at school, forever, wi...

Okay, here's the deal.  I'm sick of being condemned for my political views.  I don't care if everyone here is a republican, conservative, facist, whatever.  It's none of my business.  Furthermore, you do not have the right to label me a sinner because I believe differently than you do, or because I don't like the president of the United States.  What you are doing right now, condemming people for their politics, is an internet witch hunt.  It happened in Salem, it h...

I have two addictions.  One I'm getting over, the other I will never be rid of. 1.  I accidentally got hooked on Excedrin Migraine.  I didn't mean to, but it's the only thing that would take away my headaches.  Then if I didn't take it, I'd get one.  I finally figured it out, though.  I was addicted to the caffeine. I've been sober for three weeks, now.  Not a stitch of caffeine in that long.  I have a headache, and I took four Tylenol and three Ad...

Okay, so because of all of this I hear about Jack Bauer vs. Buffy, I'm curious  out of these couples, and any other you can think of, who would win?  I don't just want physical fights, but matches of intelligence of wit, as well.       Buffy vs. River (Serenity) The Winchester brothers of Supernatural vs. The Buffy gang (minus Buffy, of course, because Buffy could kill them) Ninja vs. Pirate Evil Dead zombies vs. Dawn of the Dead zombies vs. I am L...

There will be no comments.  This is my last one on the subject.   A certain blogger seems to think that everything I say is Mormon Doctrine. This is not so. Some things I do not know about the doctrine of my church. Scratch that, many things. This is because I am nineteen, have a life, and simply don't have an answer for everything.  I know I can never win a Bible-bashing game, as fun as it may be.  You know the Bible better than I do, I'll admit that. I chose ...

Cedarbird would make the best president for three reasons. She will get respectfrom foreign nations, she has all the necessary experience, and she willlead the nation through the turbulent times we face. First: Cedarbird would make the best president because she will get respect from foreign nations. Being from a foreign nation herself, but a citizen of this one, other nations will see the two cultures combined in one fantastic South American US citizen. Additionally, being in the prime of...

In light of the recent religious revival in the forums, I'm asking you to kindly not comment on this, unless it is a compliment.  Why?  Because not only do I like an ego boost, but I'm sick of getting into arguments about it. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________   I went to Institute today, and I love it.  It's like getting a spiritual high whenever I go, I can get out of the world, and go learn a...

Same thing as before...this is for my own edification and not to start a fight. Thanks! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I had to watch Schindler's List for English on Monday. Hard to watch. Really hard. A little too long in some spots, but I loved the book, and thought the movie did a nice job covering the story. Liam Neeson made a great Schindler. Did he get an Oscar for that? He probably shou...

I'm starting a series of articles for an indefinite period of time here.  Every time I turn around, I'm told to keep a journal.  Since I hate writing, I've been avoiding it like the plague.  This way, I'm not actually writing, and if anything ever happens to my computer, these will be saved in cyberspace forever. Starting today, I will write a regular article about how my testimony of this gospel has been strengthened.  Hopefully making my blessing tangible will help me to...

Bill Richardson backed Barack Obama for President today.  Looks like my line-up of Obama Richardson '08 isn't out of the picture entirely.  And Hillary even said unkind things about the endorsement, losing even more respect from me.  I mean, his time for usefulness is gone?  Give me a break lady, you're just jealous.   I'm happy now.

Yeah, I just needed all ya'lls to read this.  Sorry about the deception.   Okay, I need a little help.  I have a 1995 Chevy Silverado.  It won't start.  Started yesterday, won't today.    When I turn the key, it clicks.  That's all, just a little click.  The engine won't even try to turn over.  I checked the battery, it's fine, so I think it's the starter.    I was told that if you tap the starter with a hammer while s...
